The Long Fork began with our shared passions for the local farms, gardens, waters, cooks, makers, and purveyors of Long Island. We live for all things food, and are self proclaimed farm groupies.
Justine is a photographer, food stylist, and former co-owner of the famed Pisces Cafe, and I, Amy, am a freelance writer, and former restaurant co-owner of Emerson’s a French restaurant with a chef known for perfection. We became fast friends frequenting each others eateries, while also working in the restaurant scene of Babylon Village. Our penchants for only the best ingredients aligned, and we have been telling local food stories ever since.
